Details

When we set out to create our ultimate, no-compromise singletrack rig, we put everything we loved about trail riding into the Fluid FS 1.

The Fluid FS 1's progressive design provides a unique combination of fit, handling, and suspension design to elevate your trail experience. The double-butted X6 aluminum frame's smooth welded, size-scaled tubing maintains ride quality across all frame sizes and features internal cable routing for clean lines and a quiet ride.

With models designed around both 27.5 and 29-inch wheels depending on frame size, the Fluid FS 1 features 130mm of Rockshox Pike Select fork travel paired to 120mm of RockShox Deluxe Select rear suspension. An SLX/XT mix 12-speed drivetrain provides quick, reliable shifts and Shimano M420 disc brakes will bring the fun to a quick halt before you get carried away.

- Alloy Frame w/Internal Cable Routing, Boost Spacing, and 2.6" Tire Clearance
- RockShox Pike Select fork and Rockshox Deluxe Select shock
- Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain
- Stans Flow D rims and Novatec Boost hubs
- Shimano BR-M420 Hydraulic Disc Brakes

Wider than standard yet narrower than fat, plus-size rims and tires hit the sweet spot in grip, stability, and speed, giving you more confidence on technical terrain. Compared to a standard tire you’ll feel grip in places you wouldn’t expect thanks to a bigger contact patch and greater rollover clearance. More air volume allows lower tire pressures which softens bumps and increases float on sand or snow. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, the benefits of plus-size tires and rims will amplify your mountain biking fun.

A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.

Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.

Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
